How it works

1.Schedule a free estimate.

Call us or request an appointment online for a free furnace installation estimate. We'll work with you to schedule your free estimate on a day and time that works best for you.

2.Get options based on your budget.

A Design Specialist will inspect your home and chat with you about your heating and cooling needs. Then, he'll present various furnace options that match your budget.

Because most of our Design Specialists started as installation or service techs, they're extremely knowledgeable. With their product knowledge and experience in the industry they will make sure you get the furnace that will most benefit you in the long run.

3.Go about your day while we install your furnace.

On the day of your furnace installation, your install team should arrive  around 8:30–9:30am. They'll usually need at least 4 hours to complete the job.

Need to leave before we arrive? No problem. Just provide a Burgeson's representative with instructions on how to enter your home and we'll get started.

Our techs always wear shoe covers, place drop cloths and vacuum when they're done. Plus, every Burgeson's installation is carefully inspected by one of our Installation Supervisors to ensure the highest-quality work.

Signs you need to replace your Furnace

  • Your Furnace is over 15+ years.

The typical furnace lifespan is 15 to 20 years. That said, if your furnace is over 15 years old and is in need of frequent repairs, you may save more money in the long run by replacing it.

  • Your home has hot/cold spots.

As furnace systems age, they lose the ability to evenly distribute heated air throughout your home. If you notice uncomfortable hot/cold spots and you're constantly fidgeting with the thermostat to make your home more comfortable, it could be time to consider replacing your furnace.

  • The cost to repair the furnace is too high.

How high is too high? Well, the general rule of thumb is that if the cost of the repair multiplied by the age of the system is more expensive than getting a new furnace, replacing the system altogether is probably your best bet.

  • Your energy bills are getting higher and higher.

Furnaces get less efficient as they age. So if you notice that your monthly energy bills are increasing, you should consider investing in a newer, more energy-efficient furnace.

Cost of a Furnace Installation in Redlands, CA

Wondering how much it costs to install a furnace in the Redlands and Inland Empire area? Prices in our area typically fall within these ranges:

  • $4,000 to $10,000+   for just furnace replacement
  • $13,000 to $25,000+    for complete system replacement  (furnace + AC+ coil + duct)

Factors that will affect the cost of your furnace installation include:

  • The "size" or BTU output

Furnaces are sized by their BTU output, which measures how much heat the furnace can provide in an hour. The higher the BTU output, the more expensive the system. A load calculation will be done by your Design Specialist to determine the size of the furnace your home needs.

  • Efficiency

Every furnace has a specific efficiency "rating" called AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency). The higher the AFUE rating, the more expensive the unit. However, a higher AFUE also means a more efficient system and greater savings on monthly energy bills.

  • Features

Newer, high-efficiency furnaces have more advanced features. For example, some furnaces have variable speed blowers or electronic ignition. Simply put, the better the components, the higher the cost of the system

  • Whether you AC also needs to be replaced.

If your furnace is old and needs to be replaced, it's likely that your AC will need to be replaced at the same time. Your furnace and AC share many of the same systems. Upgrading one without upgrading the other can lead to pricey repairs and high energy bills.

Education

If you're shopping around for a new furnace, you've probably come across a few unfamiliar terms. Don't worry. We're here to help you make sense of all the HVAC jargon.

Below are some furnace terms and phrases you should know:

  • Variable-speed technology
If a furnace has variable-speed technology, it means it has a blower motor that can ramp up or down in speed to precisely control the flow of heated air into your home. These furnaces offer greater comfort and lower monthly energy bills.
  • Two-stage operation
If a furnace has two-stage operation, it means that the system has two levels of heat output: HIGH and LOW. These furnaces switch back and forth between stages depending on how much heating is needed at any given time. Because they can dial back in heat output on mild days, they provide more energy savings than systems that can only operate on one speed ("single-stage" technology).
  • Modulating furnace
A modulating furnace has a gas valve that regulates the amount of fuel burned at any given time. This provides precise, even temperatures throughout your home and means you spend less on heating bills every month.

HERE'S WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY

Another great installation and sale! For the second time, I have called Burgeson's to install a new Lennox Signature Series whole-house AC/Heat system. They showed up the following morning and did a beautiful job, exactly as promised, of removing all of the old equipment and installing the new system. With this being the 2nd house in about 12 years where I needed a new system, I knew exactly who to call and who to expect the best service from. I continue to be very pleased by the performance of this company. Thank you Kevin, Lance, Nick, Justin and John and all of the supporting crew.
